JAI#43Just add Christmas

Love these waterfall cards thanks to my cousin Sue who learnt from her sister- in-law Cathy a Stampin'Up! demo.
The inking on this uses Champagne shimmer paint 1/2 and 1/2 ink applied with a dauber there is actually a nice shimmer in real life. The DSP is Jolly Holiday the stamp sets Contempo Christmas and Snow Swirled.
I've addes it to the   Just Add Ink     site for this weeks challenge.
Take 2 just add a bow and I think the plumb bob look has gone!!

JAI# 43 Just add Christmas

Just happened to take a photo of this card I made today after seeing a card made by Valita Reynolds and now this challenge so here is my card.
This one uses the ornament punch but extends it with a large heart underneath, the join is covered with the scallop oval and sentiment.  Valita cleverly made an  ornament out of several punches. I don't have the link just now but I bet it could be found by Googling her name and I think Fresh Folds was the blog name....found it  valitasfreshfolds.blogspot.com

I enjoyed making this because it came together in less than 10 minutes from what was in front of me  and addressed my challenge to come up with ideas to use the Circle Circus!! A good card to give my non cardy friends for Christmas. Anyway my man says it looks like a plumb bob and him being an engineer I will believe him I won't submit this one!!
The ingredients:Circles from Circle Circus, sentiments: Teeny Tiny Sentiments and So Swirly. Foliage is from the tree in Forest Friends.
Colours:  Not that Christmassy really. So saffron, Not Quite Navy, Old Olive  & Baja Breeze

cupcake flop.

The fairy floss  is quite silky at first and looks lovely on top. Then there is moisture and yuk. The star thing was a quick thought late afternoon to not add lollies and more sugar to the cakes. I thought to go lo cal. so the stars were made very quickly. This poor cake is the last lonely one. I think one of my kids will eat it!
By the way, the icing (butter) had the floss added to get the colour. The flavour of the floss is pistacio.
